Hello there! This is just a little something I wrote for my reading class, we all had to write a poem... I think it's hideous, but they published it on the school's paper... so...


Waiting...

Waiting, waiting, here I am
For you to come and take my hand.
Waiting, waiting for your love
That is so pure and sweet like the sun at dawn.

Standing here, on this cloudy day
With feelings that I'm trying to convey
I am waiting for you to light my day
Like a lighthouse lights a sailor's way.

So, when you come back with your shining smile,
Your eyes like heaven and feather hands,
I'll be standing here with open arms
To begin the life we dreamed one starry night.


It's a little sappy sugary, I hope I don't give anyone cavities
